Paul McCartney

Album Notes

Twin Freaks was an album released by Paul McCartney and DJ/producer Freelance Hellraiser aka Roy Kerr in 2005. Best known at the time for his genre-defying mash-up album, A Stroke Of Genius, Kerr had fast become one of the country's most sought after remixers. In the summer of 2004, Hellraiser toured Europe with Paul, opening each show with a twenty-five minute set of remixed McCartney songs, the tour culminating with a famous headline performance at Glastonbury. The album consisted of twelve re-worked and re-invented classics from Paul's back catalogue, the credits on the album not giving the listener any clues as to who did what on each track. Really Love You, the first single to be released, was a remix of a track taken from Paul McCartney's 1997 hit album Flaming Pie.
