Give My Regards To Broad Street is the soundtrack album to the feature film of the same name, released in 1984 and based on a script written by Paul himself. The plot centres around a chaotic day in Paul's life following the disappearance of the master tapes for a new album. The majority of the story is told through dream sequences, with each dream soundtracked by re-recorded versions of classic tracks by The Beatles, Wings and McCartney solo singles. The album was preceded by a new composition, No More Lonely Nights, which was a global smash and was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for Best Original Song. Once again, the soundtrack peaked at number 1 in the UK and was certified platinum for sales of over 300,000 copies.

Did you know?

The soundtrack's original release was on Columbia Records in 1984. It was remastered in 1993 and reissued on CD as part of 'The Paul McCartney Collection' series with two extended dance mixes of "No More Lonely Nights (playout version)" as bonus tracks.
