Tour Information

A celebratory show at the legendary home of Liverpool Football Club on 1st Jun 2008, held to mark the city’s year as European Capital of Culture. Supported by the Kaiser Chiefs and The Zutons and with a surprise cameo from Dave Grohl for Paul's set, Liverpool Sound 2008 was a huge success, with Paul paying tribute to both George Harrison and Linda and including an anthemic run through of Lennon's Give Peace A Chance. The show was sensational and received phenomenal reviews from all areas of the media, with local paper Liverpool Echo breathlessly enthusing, “If Anfield had a roof, Macca would have blown it right off.”
