Massive congratulations to Paul. 'Ocean's Kingdom' has topped the Classical Charts and reached the number one spot in the US and number two in the UK. Special thanks to everyone who made this happen and supported the project.

'Ocean's Kingdom' marks Paul's first foray into the world of dance. It's the first time Paul has specifically written any kind of music for dance.

Paul said: “I’m really pleased with the news that the Ocean’s Kingdom ballet music has gone to the top of the charts. It was a really exciting project and this is the ultimate pay off”.

Recorded in June in London ‘Ocean’s Kingdom’ was conducted by John Wilson, produced by John Fraser and performed by The London Classical Orchestra. The ballet, which was commissioned by the New York City Ballet, premiered in September in New York where Paul received a standing ovation from the audience.

His last orchestral project, 'Ecce Cor Meum', saw Paul winning a Classical BRIT Award in 2007 for Best Classical Album.

The 'Hall of Dance' section in which McCartney gets to indulge his inner Gershwin. McCartney undeniably has an ear for melody.

The Sun
A new classical score by Macca is always an event. McCartney packs in plenty of rhythm and builds exciting climaxes, particularly in the first section where surging seas depict the rising tides of passion. It's bold stuff...

Daily Express
The melodic score has a romantic touch that is almost 19th century in character. 4 stars.
