Paul's interview with Sheila Dillon on Radio 4's The Food Programme is now available to download as a podcast from iTunes.

In the half hour programme Paul discusses how his attitude to food has changed from an upbringing in Liverpool where the food was based around meat and the Sunday roast was the big event of the week, through to becoming vegetarian and campaigning for animals rights.

Last week the McCartney family revealed they have been working on a new animated advert for a new range of Linda McCartney chilled food. The advert is set to be broadcast for the first time on Monday 28th January. Scroll down to see a teaser clip from the advert featuring a voiceover by family friend and fellow vegetarian Elvis Costello.

Paul will be appearing on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Food Programme’ this Sunday 27th January at 12:30 to discuss the campaign and being vegetarian. Fans can tune in via their radios or listen online at the station’s website HERE! The show will be repeated on Monday 28th January at 15:30 and will also be available to stream on the BBC’s iPlayer.

A well known campaigner for animal rights Paul recently called upon the Doha climate conference to take into account the impact the livestock sector has on global warming. He also suggested fans consider eating a vegetarian roast for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
