Uruguay under Macca's spell

Uruguay under Macca's spell

Fans were rewarded for their four
decade wait last night as Paul McCartney finally played Uruguay
for the first time ever. Montevideo was brought to a standstill in
the hours before the show, with local restaurants, cafes and bars
blaring out Paul's music and fans gathering at the stadium before
the gates opened in the hope of getting the best position inside.
Many of them had travelled from across Uruguay to see Paul play
nearly three hours of music on an immense 80ft stage, with an
incredible set list that spanned his entire career from The
Beatles to 'My Valentine' from his latest solo album 'Kisses On
The Bottom'.
