The PETA Party of the Century on 18th September 1999 – organised by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, a charity close to Paul's heart – marked the first concert Paul had played in Los Angeles since 1993. Performing a six-song set taken from his album _Run Devil Run_, Paul was backed by a very special band, featuring David Gilmour, Mick Green, Ian Paice and Pete Wingfield.
