PAUL McCARTNEY AND WINGS
A new exhibition opening at The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum
Opens 15th May 2026

On May 15th, 2026, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will open the doors to their exciting new exhibit Paul McCartney and Wings. This will be the first major museum exhibition to explore the story of Paul McCartney and Wings – a defining force in 1970s rock that bridged the gap between the end of The Beatles and the rise of a new era in popular music. Tickets are on sale now at RockHall.com.

Comprised of the most extensive collection of items from Paul’s personal archives to be made accessible to the public as well as donations from band members and associates, Paul McCartney and Wings will trace the arc of Paul’s post-Beatles reinvention – from his self-titled 1970 debut album through the formation of Wings to the band’s dissolution in 1981. The exhibition will feature numerous never-before-displayed artifacts, including instruments played in Wings’ recording sessions and in concert performances, clothing worn by the band, handwritten lyrics, original artwork, tour memorabilia, and previously unseen photography – presented within an immersive experience incorporating archival video, audio and images.

Additionally, the museum is set to host an early screening of Paul McCartney: Man on the Run, the intimate new documentary from Oscar, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning director Morgan Neville chronicling Wings’ 1970s ascension, in their Foster Theater on Saturday, February 21st. Tickets will be available first to members, and then will be on-sale to the public later today (TBD). More information and a link to purchase tickets can be found at RockHall.com

Man on the Run will be released on February 27th on Prime Video and will take viewers on an intimate journey through Paul's extraordinary decade following the breakup of The Beatles and the formation of Wings with his wife, Linda. The documentary, distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, will give fans unprecedented access to previously unseen footage and rare archival materials, capturing Paul’s transformative post-Beatles era through a uniquely vulnerable lens.
