Friday March 3 – With less than a month to go until the release of the reissue of Paul McCartney’s classic album Flowers In The Dirt (the 10th installment of the Grammy-winning Paul McCartney Archive Collection) – Paul has released some photographs taken from the video shoots for the song ‘This One’.

In 1989 Paul shot two videos for the song, taken from the album Flowers In The Dirt.

The first, directed by Tim Pope, was filmed in June (1989) at the Albert Wharf Studio in Battersea, London.  Referred to as the ‘Eastern’ promo the video featured scenes with meditation as well as featuring Paul, Linda and the band. The promo also includes Indian dancers. Photographer Eugene Adebari was on set to capture still photographs on the day.

The second video was directed by ‘light painting’ photographer Dean Chamberlain and was filmed in a rehearsal barn in the South-East of England in July (1989).

Today, Paul has released a selection of images from both video shoots to coincide with the song, ‘This One’, being available as an Instant Grat track for people who have digitally pre-ordered Flowers In The Dirt.

Those who pre-order the album digitally will also get Instant Grat tracks – previously unreleased original demo versions of 'My Brave Face' and 'That Day Is Done' – both recorded at one of the early writing sessions.
